User Roles and Permissions
Each user is assigned a specific role in the Active Directory. This role determines the permissions and access to various functions within planr.
planr offers the following permission levels:
| Level | Permission | Who |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Read-only access | e.g., Employee |
| 2 | Write and read access | e.g., Project Manager |
| 3 | - Write and read access - Settings such as working hours and holidays and other company-specific specifications | Manager, Secretariat |
| 4 | For Enterprise customers: All rights from level 3 for all group companies | IT / Application Managers (for Enterprise customers) |
If a person is responsible for multiple companies – for example, if the secretariat works for two companies – and has access to both (Enterprise customers), they can easily switch between companies (see Fig. Switch company in the user interface).
This is done via the dropdown menu, where all available companies are displayed.

By selecting a company in the dropdown, you can switch between different organizations without having to log in again.
