Import Interface
The import interface for absences allows for the automatic transfer of absence data from external systems into planr. This function is particularly useful for companies that already use another system to manage absences.
How it Works
The interface transfers two types of information:
- Absence Types: Different categories of absences such as vacation, illness, training, etc.
- Absence Dispositions: Specific employee absences with date, duration, and status
When an absence is imported into planr via the interface, the following information is automatically transferred:
- Employee ID
- Absence type (e.g., Vacation, Illness)
- Branch and office
- Date and duration of the absence
- Notes and additional information
- Status of the absence (confirmed, requested, rejected, canceled)
Status of Absences
Absences are transferred with the status from the external system:
- Confirmed: The absence has been approved and is final
- Requested: The absence has been requested but not yet approved
- Rejected: The absence has been rejected
- Canceled: The absence has been canceled
Confirmed absences can no longer be edited in planr as they are managed by the external system.
Automatic Scheduling
When an absence is imported via the interface, it is automatically scheduled in planr. The responsible employee no longer needs to manually schedule the absence.
The interface is usually set up and managed by external partners. If you have questions about the configuration, please contact your IT administrator or the planr team.
